Retrograde of JUPITER in 2008
From MAY 9, 2008 to SEPTEMBER 8, 2008
Jupiter is the biggest planet and has a very important place in Vedic
astrology. It got retrograde on 9th May 2008 and will get direct on 8th Sept 2008.
Retrograde Jupiter leads to introspection of one own self. Inner
awareness and inner growth is what starts to take place. Evaluation
starts for the previous deeds and conducts. It is a time suitable for
self improvement and personal integrity. It's a time to evaluate ones
honesty with own self. What ever which had been left behind by way of
pending and incomplete work and seems to be a failure project,
restarts with a high success rate. All the opportunities which come
in the way when Jupiter gets retrograde are usually the outcome of
past spade work done. People who have retrograde Jupiter in their
horoscope are capable to revive projects those are shut down. They
can be good negotiators and arbitrators for pending problems which
may appear difficult.
On the other hand new business projects should not be taken up in
this period of retrograde Jupiter as it might turn out to be more of
a charitable work. Retrograde Jupiter is more spiritual, religious
and philosophical. Philosophical creative works turn out to be
excellent. All previous Jupitarian projects such as teaching,
introspection, religious jobs and works related to institutions,
temples etc. can be taken up. Projects involving humanitarian
activities yields excellent results. People should perform religious
rites and observe austerities, divert their senses towards worship,
praise, and offer service to God. Material pleasures will get no
return whereas spiritual gains will fetch prosperity, peace and
others rewards – though this being the real fact always but present
time is more suited.
Yes, if you have an old, stale, dying or dead relationship, and you
want to bring it back on track, this is the time to give your last
try because if it has to come back it is possible when Jupiter is
retrograde. It is a time to restore any project or relationship that
is failing.
(So you have 8 days to plan it out right!)
